A container port with cranes and stacked containers.

Test drones and robots in a twin of the real place.

A simulation test and verification platform for drone, robotics and sensor makers. Test in a working copy of the place your product has to work in.

What it is

Coldrange builds twins of real places from measured terrain, buildings and weather. Connect your hardware or software and run it through many scenarios there.

  • A city interchange and the streets around it, as a 3D map.

    Pick a place.

A twin built from measured terrain, buildings and weather.

  • A cargo ship model on the vehicle editor grid, with its axes drawn through it.

    Connect your system.

Hardware or software, from your own bench.

  • A container port with each crane marked as an obstacle volume, under cloud.

    Run it many times.

Change wind, light and links, and keep a record of each run.

Systems are built in hours. Proving they work still takes a real place.

AI now writes the code, drafts the design and iterates in hours. The result still has to be proven on real hardware.

Designated flight areas exist, and getting into one takes an authorization. A test flight there shows what happened on one day, in one wind.

A drone’s view over a suburb under broken cloud.
A real port from the air, photoreal terrain, with authored waypoints and their speeds marked over the water.

Develop where you prove.

A flight controller on a bench believes it is airborne, flying its route over a real place.

A real port, built from survey data.

Use cases

Cities, ports, power lines and more.

Built to be run by agents.

Runs and their records at the bottom, one open interface above them, agents, your software and people working through it, and the 3D view on top as one way to watch.

Coldrange is designed to run headless. Scenarios, runs and results go through one open interface, so an agent can build a scenario, connect a system and run it through many scenarios unattended, and a person can open the 3D view and watch any run as it happens.

Each run is designed to be kept, with the route, the vehicle, the conditions and the outcome.

People stay in the loop: an agent proposes, a named person decides.

Your system, your data, open interfaces.

Your data

Built to keep your code and data in Europe.

Coldrange is a European company, built to keep your code, your site data and every run record in Europe. Run it in our environment, in a dedicated one, or offline on your own premises. European models, or your own. Open formats, so you can take your data with you.

  • A dedicated one
  • Offline, on your premises
Open

Open, so others can build in it.

Open interfaces and published protocols. Many drone makers already build on open autopilots like ArduPilot and PX4.

Coldrange is new. The experience is not. The team has more than a decade of building hardware-in-the-loop systems, software that talks to real hardware from drones to tanks, including projects for NATO and the British military. It also brings decades of international business experience, and a track record of successfully building and scaling ecosystem products.
